Website terms
Terms of Use
These terms govern the Equivara website and its preliminary inquiry form.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to this website and its inquiry form. By using the website, and by checking the acknowledgement when submitting an inquiry, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not submit the form.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. The website is intended for use in the United States. Availability may differ by state and by the relationships Equivara actually has at the time of an inquiry.
2. What Equivara does—and does not do
Equivara provides general educational information about personal lending and debt consolidation and receives preliminary consumer inquiries. Where Equivara has an appropriate and legally permitted relationship, it may provide information about or facilitate contact with an independent third-party financial-services provider.
Equivara is not a lender and does not make credit, underwriting, approval, pricing, or funding decisions. Equivara does not promise that a lender relationship, product, offer, approval, rate, term, savings, funding amount, or debt reduction will be available.
The website does not provide legal, tax, investment, credit-repair, or individualized financial advice. Information is general and may not address your circumstances.
3. Website inquiry
The inquiry form is a request for Equivara to review your stated interest and contact information. It is not an application, prequalification, offer, or agreement to extend credit. Submitting it does not authorize or initiate a credit report, hard inquiry, or soft inquiry.
Do not submit a Social Security number, date of birth, bank credentials, account credentials, income documents, government identification, credit reports, or other sensitive documents through this form.
You agree that information you submit is accurate and that you are submitting it for yourself. You may not submit another person's information without lawful authority.
4. Communications
When you submit the form, you authorize Equivara to contact you by email and, if you voluntarily provide a telephone number, by telephone about that inquiry. The launch form does not request consent to marketing text messages, and consent to receive texts is not a condition of using this website.
You may ask Equivara to stop inquiry follow-up. Administrative, security, or legally required communications may still be sent when applicable.
5. Independent third parties
Any independent lender or service provider is responsible for its own products, criteria, disclosures, applications, credit authorization, decisions, rates, fees, terms, servicing, and privacy practices. Equivara does not control or endorse every statement, product, or decision made by a third party.
The launch version of the inquiry form does not automatically send your information to a lender. Any future referral or data transfer must reflect Equivara's actual relationships and include any additional notice or authorization required at that time.
6. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with operation, evade security or rate limits, introduce malicious code, scrape or copy the site at scale, impersonate another person, submit false or unlawful information, or use the website in violation of law or another person's rights.
7. Intellectual property
The website's design, branding, text, graphics, and code are owned by Equivara or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, revocable right to use the website for its intended personal, noncommercial purpose. They do not transfer ownership.
8. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue website features and may update these Terms as operations change. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The posted version and effective date identify the current Terms.
9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its general information are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or results. Some jurisdictions do not allow particular warranty exclusions, so those exclusions may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Equivara and its officers, directors, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the website. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes the website inquiry data flow. A third-party financial-services provider will have separate privacy practices and notices.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from exercising rights or remedies available under mandatory consumer-protection law. No arbitration agreement or class-action waiver is created by these Terms.
