Privacy Policy
This policy describes the deliberately limited data flow for Equivara Lending, Inc.'s website inquiry form.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to information Equivara Lending, Inc. (“Equivara,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) receives through this website and its inquiry form. It does not describe a lender's separate website, application, underwriting, credit-reporting, or privacy practices.
Equivara is not a lender and does not make credit decisions. If you later interact with an independent lender or another financial-services provider, that party will provide its own notices and terms.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
The inquiry form may collect your first and last name, email address, optional telephone number, state, the purpose you want to explore, an optional approximate amount, and your acknowledgement of the contact language, this Privacy Policy, and the Terms of Use.
Limited technical information
Our hosting and security systems necessarily process limited technical information associated with a request, such as an IP address, request time, browser or device information, and security or delivery metadata. The application uses a one-way, temporary representation of an IP address for rate limiting and does not include IP addresses or browser details in inquiry emails.
Information we do not request through this form
Do not submit a Social Security number, date of birth, bank or account credentials, income documents, government identification, credit-report information, or other sensitive documents. This form does not authorize or initiate a credit check.
3. How we use information
We use inquiry information to:
- receive, review, and respond to your inquiry;
- contact you by email and, if you voluntarily provide a phone number, by telephone about that inquiry;
- understand whether you are exploring personal lending, debt consolidation, or a privacy request;
- protect the form and website against abuse, fraud, and security incidents;
- comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Use; and
- maintain operational records and resolve complaints.
This form does not request consent to marketing text messages. We do not use information submitted here to make lending, approval, pricing, or credit decisions.
4. How information is disclosed
Inquiry information is stored as encrypted files on a private Railway volume. We may disclose information to service providers that support this limited inquiry flow, including our hosting and storage provider (currently Railway), security providers, and professional advisers. These providers process information for the services they perform for us and are subject to their own contractual and legal obligations.
The launch version of this form does not automatically transmit an inquiry to a lender. If Equivara later has an appropriate relationship and proposes to send your information to an independent financial-services provider, we will provide any additional disclosure or authorization required for that specific step before doing so.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or a valid government request; protect rights, safety, or systems; investigate misuse; or complete a business transaction subject to appropriate protections.
5. Advertising, analytics, and cookies
At launch, this website does not use advertising pixels, behavioral advertising, analytics services, user accounts, or browser cookies. We do not sell inquiry information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If those practices change, we will update this policy and provide any required notice or choice before activating them.
6. Retention
We retain an inquiry for no longer than 90 days when it does not progress to an active conversation, unless a longer period is reasonably needed for a request, complaint, legal obligation, security investigation, or establishment or defense of legal claims. Records connected to an ongoing relationship may require a different schedule.
Authorized administrators review stored inquiries against this retention schedule and delete expired records from the private storage volume.
7. Security
We use measures designed to limit access and protect inquiry information, including HTTPS transport, AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption for stored files, a separately managed encryption key, data minimization, input validation, request-size limits, rate limiting, bot screening, restricted configuration, and a policy against logging form contents. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Your choices and requests
You may choose not to provide an optional phone number. You may also ask to access, correct, or delete inquiry information, or ask a question about this policy, subject to identity verification and applicable exceptions.
To make a privacy request, use the website inquiry form and select “Privacy request.” Do not include sensitive financial or identity information in the request.
Depending on where you live and whether applicable legal thresholds are met, you may have additional privacy rights. Equivara will evaluate verified requests under the laws that apply to its actual operations.
9. Children
This website is intended for adults. Equivara does not knowingly solicit or collect inquiry information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor submitted information, use the privacy-request process above.
10. Financial-services notices
This website inquiry is not a loan application or credit-report request. If Equivara's activities later require a separate financial privacy notice, opt-out process, or other disclosure under federal or state law, that notice will be provided when legally required and will supplement this website policy.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website and actual services change. The posted version and effective date will identify the current policy. Material changes will receive any additional notice required by law.
